10/10 recommend JPA Contracting - I recently hired them to convert a half bath into half bath/laundry room. This required pushing a wall out a few feet, plumbing and electrical work. From start to finish, Joey, Dave and Chris were professional, friendly, and punctual. They maintained excellent communication and clearly take pride in their work. I love the end result. Old house = old bathroom. JPA did an amazing job with our remodel! They showed up every day, cleaned up after themselves and were in and out under three weeks. With only one shower in our house, timing was important to us. Highly recommend and would totally have them back in the future!

Joe and Chris showed up on a Sunday morning to give us a quote on a cement walkway,patio extension and a cement step that we wanted covered with trek they knew exactly what we wanted i knew right away that they were the right guys for this job here are the pictures of the work they did.

Hired JPA to redo our side deck. Joe and crew got work right away and stayed on time and on budget. As a contractor myself I'm very picky on who does work for my home and Joe and his team treated my home and project with care and respect. JPA has completed a patio, walkway, fence, updated cellar stairs, window replacement and a storm door installation. Joey and crew did a great job and we especially love our patio and walkway. Almost three years ago I had a terrible experience with some home improvement contractors. They had worked on our half bath and just after they took their second installment, they pretty much ghosted us. It began with them saying they all had covid. Then they said they were working another job. There were myriad issues with their workmanship, messiness, incompetence, etc. We eventually took them to court and filed complaints and almost nothing worked out for us and our money was gone. Well, just a short time ago, we finally proceeded with the renovation of our full bath. We interviewed several local contractors, all of whom wanted devastatingly high prices. One even quoted $40k! And they were all booked out months in advance. We nearly gave up. But then we found our guys. JPA Contracting had done some painting work for us awhile back but we had very little to go on with regards to a big remodeling job. They have a tiny online footprint. But we really liked their concept of pay-as-you-go and a promise they wouldn't work on any other jobs concurrently. We gave them a small deposit for building materials and then after that we'd pay week by week for only the labor hours they completed. This payment method was unlike any of the other companies in that way and ideal for us since we'd been so burned by the money aspect on the previous bathroom job. They began work every day at 730am and toiled long hours as fast as they could since they knew we were using a makeshift shower in the basement. And now I am thrilled to report that after just TWO WEEKS, they completed the whole darn thing and did the most incredible job. Joey Ambrifi is your man. I couldn't have asked for a more responsive and hard-working individual to run the show. I always felt I could ask questions or make requests. He was endlessly patient. They all went above and beyond while being respectful of privacy and mindful of keeping the dust etc at a minimum. They even vacuumed at the end of each day. I honestly could not be more emphatic about their skills and attention to detail. If you are considering a remodel, give them a call. Shoot them a text. Save this post for later. You will not be sorry.

I can’t recommend Joe and JPA Contracting highly enough. Over the past couple years, Joe replaced shingles on our older home in advance of an exterior paint job, as well as replaced our back door and other light interior carpentry. We had such a great experience with JPA on these smaller jobs that they are currently renovating most of our home over the next couple months. The work includes adding a dormer, full demo and rebuilding of two bedrooms and two closets, installing a new half bath, and a full bathroom renovation. Joe is highly-skilled, the best communicator in the business, an absolutely consistent hard worker, and his work and his subcontractors’ work has been top notch. We feel great about the progress only 3 weeks into the job and can’t wait to see the final product! 🙌🏻💪🏻

My partner and I hired JPA Contracting to add a dormer to one side of our house, gut and remodel two bedrooms and a full bathroom, and add a second half bathroom. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and had an excellent experience working with Joe, his crew, and his subcontractors. He navigated the permitting process proactively and connected us with a local architect for the required plans who was also great to work with. Our house is over 140 years old and Joe communicated quickly and clearly about any issues or surprises that came up as the walls and roof came down. Issues are always going to come up in this extensive of a renovation on an old house, and he never hid the ball on what it would take to fix a problem. He was always available to us when we had questions and consistently reached out for our input even on smaller choices like where to hang fixtures. He was extremely flexible when we wanted to add something within reason to the project. Joe and his team truly care about quality craftsmanship and it shows, and Joe as a business owner sets himself apart from others with his consistent availability and communication. JPA finished our project on time (a little early, actually!) even through a tough winter with extra components added to the project along the way. We are already making a list of future projects for Joe (and some of his subcontractors!). Thank you JPA for your excellent work and for taking such good care of our home!
